READY, SET.....

LET'S BUILD & GO!

My Own Creation Caps, or MOC Caps, was created to give parents and children an alternative to digital devices.  The hats provided an opportunity for children to live in their imagination and then invite others into the world that they’ve created - we’ve coined it “Build & Go!”

The beauty of MOC Caps is that it gives the children so much pride when people stop and stare, taking in the intricate designs built on their hats!  When strangers stopped to admire Jalen & Nyles’ moc builds, their young faces lit up with pride and joy.  These were also opportunities for growth because Jalen and Nyles engaged with strangers and developed interpersonal skills. They were very quiet and shy, so this helped with self expression, self confidence, listening skills and public speaking. (We usually had the most inquisitive comments at restaurants where other people in the restaurant were listening as well.) 

It all started with the caps; however, we’re excited about what’s to come! You may have noticed the company name is MOC Gear and not MOC Caps - and that’s because we will be offering more than just hats. Join our club for notifications on product releases! A variety of brick themed fashion apparel Jalen and Nyles are really into fashion, so we’ll be expanding into a clothing line this year, including undergarments. We’ll be looking to establish fun and creative partnerships with a shoe line in 2024.  For the culture, we are excited to work with brands - personal, corporate, historical and entertainers - who have rich histories and stories I know so many people will enjoy

There’s something beautiful about acknowledging specific parts of a culture and projecting that into the world as well, and so MOC gear was established with the idea of projecting real cultures from real places, and real historical events. As children and adults play, we hope to inspire, teach, and brings about an appreciation for all people by highlighting what makes them special.
